Norway’s Avance Gas is not worried that the US-China trade war will alter LPG trade routes and sink freight rates, the VLGC owner's president said.
The freight market is "quite indifferent" to whether US LPG exports go to China or other Asian countries, Christian Andersen said during a second-quarter earnings call.
"Even if we take all the Chinese tonnes to India, and all the India-Middle East purchase tonnes to China, the fleet utilisation has not changed a lot," he said.
