Commodities trader Trafigura has carried out its first ship-to-ship transfer of ammonia in an operation in the Mediterranean.
The company said 6,000 tonnes of ammonia was transferred between Purus Marine’ 40,000-cbm gas carrier Green Power (built 2023), which is on time charter to Trafigura, and the 9,102-cbm Gas Aegean (built 2012).
