A third ice-breaking LNG carrier for Russia’s Yamal LNG project has been delivered and approved to transit the Northern Sea Route (NSR).
Dynagas, Sinotrans and China LNG Shipping’s 172,600-cbm newbuilding Fedor Litke (built 2017) has arrived off Nahodka in Russia, data shows.
The vessel has been granted permission to navigate the NSR from 22 November until 20 February. But its passage will be weather dependent.
