Speculation has been circulating about the identity of the company behind the most recent LNG carrier order for Samsung Heavy Industries.
SHI said on Friday that it had signed an order to build a KRW 245bn ($208m) LNG carrier newbuilding.
The shipbuilder said the vessel was contracted by an Oceania-based company without naming the party behind the deal.
