India’s Swan Energy says it has received approval from Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) for the installation of an FSRU at Jafrabad in Gujarat.
Swan LNG Private Ltd (SLPL), the company responsible for the project, has contracted National Marine & Infrastructure India Private Ltd (NMIIPL) to construct the shore side facilities at the port in the north west of the country.
The Bombay-listed company said NMIIPL, which has already begun construction work, expects to complete the facility within three years.
