Canada’s Steelhead LNG is progressing its planned liquefaction project Kwispaa LNG by appointing South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) to carry out front-end engineering and design (FEED) work on a pair of specialist hulls worth a total of $500m.
HHI and the project team comprising Steelhead LNG and Huu-ay-aht First Nations held a signing ceremony at the Gastech event in Barcelona today to ink the FEED contract for two “At-Shore LNG” hulls for Kwispaa LNG on the west coast of Vancouver Island in Canada.
