StealthGas has disposed of a Japanese-built, pressurised LPG carrier at a better-than-expected price as the New York-listed shipowner continues to trim its fleet.
US brokers said the Harry Vafias-led company has sold the 3,500-cbm Gas Enchanted (built 2006) to an undisclosed Indonesian buyer for $9m.
The price is well above market estimates for the Saiki Miura Shipbuilding-constructed vessel, with VesselsValue saying it is worth just $5.6m
