Golar LNG chief financial officer Karl Fredrik Staubo has been named as the company's new head.
The New York-listed gas carrier owner announced on Thursday that Staubo — who formerly led Golar LNG Partners until its takeover by New Fortress Energy — has been appointed chief executive.
He is joined on the leadership team by Eduardo Maranhao, who will serve as chief financial officer after holding the same position at one-time Golar spin-off candidate Hygo Energy Transition.
