Russian shipowner Sovcomflot (SCF Group) has signed financing and time-charter agreements for the first ice-breaking LNG carrier for the Novatek-led Arctic LNG 2 project.
Sovcomflot and Russian financial institution VEB.RF Group signed an agreement for lease financing of the lead ship in a series of ice-breaking LNG carriers expected to be built for Novatek's second Arctic-based project at Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex.
