Sojitz Corporation has acquired a minority stake in a LNG terminal located in northwest Spain, the company confirmed Monday.
It acquired the stake following its takeover of Spanish company First State Regasificadora SLU, which has been renamed Sojitz Regasificadora SLU.
The Spanish company has 15% stake in Regasificadora del Noroeste (Reganos), whose assets include the LNG terminal located in Mugardos.
