Oslo-quoted IMS turned in a loss of $4.5m, versus a deficit of $3.9m in the comparable period 12 months prior, as gross revenue from gas transportation activities fell to $36.2m from $45.2m year-on-year.
The company said Norgas narrowed its loss in the third quarter and expects the division to continue to improve in the months ahead.
IMS attributed the rebound to increased revenues and lower operating costs linked to its “centralise and simplify” programme.
