The Society of International Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators (Sigtto) is expecting its biggest turnout at an annual meeting in the UK capital next week.
Andrew Clifton, the industry body's general manager, said more than 170 participants have registered, with more expected to join when the society holds its 64th panel meeting in London on 11 to 12 April.
Clifton said those attending will hear a presentation from the UK’s Marine Accident Investigation Branch about a mooring line snap-back accident from Nakilat's 267,335-cbm Zarga (built 2010) in 2015, which led to an officer being seriously injured.
