A floating LNG production unit being built for Italy’s Eni has been caught up in the latest string of US sanctions designed to thwart Russia’s oil and gas trading abilities and ambitions.
In its wide-ranging package of sanctions against Russia, unveiled on Friday, the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control added Zhoushan Wison Offshore and Marine Co in Zhejiang Province to its list of targeted persons, ships and entities.
