An LNG carrier has come alongside Shell’s huge liquefaction unit Prelude FLNG off north-west Australia, as the floater prepares to discharge its first cargo.
Detailed monitoring by Eikland Energy data service iGIS/LNG shows the 173,400-cbm Valencia Knutsen (built 2010) approached the 600,000-tonne floating LNG (FLNG) unit from the east with the assistance of three tugs on Tuesday and again on Wednesday.
