Shell is in the process of finalising the sale of two steam turbine-driven, G-class LNG carriers that it has previously circulated on the market.
Industry sources reveal that a buyer has been found for the 137,001-cbm Gallina and 136,967-cbm Galea (both built 2002).
They indicate the deal involves a five-year bareboat charter back with purchase obligations. However, it is not yet clear if a deal has been finalised.
