Energy major Shell has confirmed and commented on its time-charter deal for six LNG carrier newbuildings.
Shell Tankers (Singapore) (STSL) has signed separate agreements for two LNG carriers with Sovcomflot Gas Carriers and for four LNG carriers with TMS Cardiff Gas, as reported by TradeWinds yesterday.
"These state-of-the-art 174,000 cbm LNG carriers are equipped with efficient duel-fuel X-DF diesel engines and will operate as part of Shell’s time-chartered fleet," the company said.
