US gas vessel giant Seapeak is aiming to boost shipping’s transparency through a United Nations emissions-monitoring programme.
The owner of 93 LNG and LPG vessels has become the first shipowner to join the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP).
This is a voluntary initiative launched by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) to improve the monitoring, reporting and verification of methane emissions from oil and gas operations.
