Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) is considering taking a stake in a new FSRU and FSU project.
The 10m tonnes per year facility off Jafrabad in Gujarat involves an investment of INR 40bn ($551m) by Swan Energy.
The Hindu Business Line cited a senior SCI official as saying: “We are evaluating a proposal to invest in the Jafrabad LNG port project."
