Samsung Heavy Industries has secured its eighth LNG newbuilding so far in 2019, the shipbuilder disclosed on Friday.
The contract is worth KRW 221.6bn ($190m) to the shipyard and will see the ship emerge from Samsung’s newbuilding facility in March 2002.
As with previous orders, the South Korea shipbuilder declined to identify the shipowner behind the order, only saying that they came from the Oceania region.
