Samsung Heavy Industries says it has just secured newbuilding orders for four LNG carriers in a deal worth KRW 870bn ($774m).
The identity of the counterparty was not disclosed, only described as “an American shipper”, by the Korean yard. The ships will be delivered by September 2022.
