A first commercial cargo of LNG is due to be delivered to the floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) that Russia has recently returned to its exclave of Kaliningrad as tensions over a possible conflict with Ukraine continue to ramp up.
Alpha Gas’ 173,400-cbm Energy Integrity (built 2021), which is one of two vessels on long-term charter to Russian energy giant Gazprom, is currently waiting off Kaliningrad where the 170,000-cbm FSRU Marshal Vasilevskiy (built 2018) berthed in late January.
