Experienced shipping executive Andrew Pickering is keeping busy in retirement by joining the board of Australian compressed natural gas pioneer Global Energy Ventures (GEV).
The former chief executive of small-scale LNG start-up Avenir LNG became a non-executive director on 1 February.
He has 40 years of experience in shipping and logistics, including a distinguished career with chemical tanker group Stolt-Nielsen, which is one of the co-owners of Avenir.
