Middle East producer Qatargas has put its first Q-Flex LNG carrier through the Panama Canal.
The 210,000-cbm Al Safliya (built 2007), which has length of 315-metres and a 50-metre beam, made the 82-kilometre transit on 12 May becoming the first LNG carrier of this size to navigate the expanded waterway.
