Polish importer Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNiG) has invited shipowners to pre-qualify to supply for up to eight LNG carriers it wants to source over the next five years to lift the country’s new gas purchases.
Industry sources following the business said PGNiG is seeking two vessels to be delivered in the second half of 2022.
The company said it will need another two to four ships the following year, and another pair in 2024.
