Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) has begun a new partnership with compatriot Kyushu Electric Power by locking one LNG carrier into a long-term charter.
The Japanese owner said the 149,700-cbm Grace Barleria (built 2007) has been fixed to Kyushu Electric for up to about 11 years.
Grace Barleria will transport LNG from various projects such as Wheatstone LNG in Australia, the company added.
