NYK has agreed long-term time charters with Mitsubishi Corporation for three LNG carriers to import LNG from the US and Canada.
The 174,000-cbm vessels have been fixed to Singapore-based Diamond Gas International and have been ordered at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.
The first ship is due to be delivered in 2020 with the second and third vessels scheduled to follow during 2021, NYK said.
