NYK has clinched a vessel charter to ship in ammonia for a pioneering power station test.
Japanese trader Mitsui & Co has fixed NYK’s owned and operated 35,400-cbm LPG carrier Berlian Ekuator (built 2004) on time charter for an unspecified period.
The deal is part of the development of a marine transport system for future expansion of the ammonia fuel market.
