NYK Line has confirmed a long-term charter for a dual-fuel LNG carrier newbuilding to French energy giant EDF Energy.
The Japanese owner said the ship would be chartered for an initial seven year period with optional extension periods for up to 13 additional years.
The 174,000-cbm gas carrier will be built by South Korea’s Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI) and is due to be delivered in April 2020.
