Alexey Khaydukov, a Sovcomflot executive, will soon take on further leadership responsibilities within the Russian LNG shipowner.
Subsidiary Novoship elected him as the new president to replace Igor Tonkovidov, who resigned to become Russia's deputy minister of maritime and river transport.
Khaydukov, 51, is also managing director of SCF Management Services, a position he will retain in addition to his new role.
