US-listed New Fortress Energy is targeting production from its first floating LNG production unit in July.
Speaking on the company’s fourth-quarter results call, chief financial officer Chris Guinta said construction of New Fortress’ first floating LNG unit — FLNG 1 — is 80% complete and is expected to be leave in less than 100 days to be deployed to Altamira, Mexico, in June 2023.
