Freshly-listed New Fortress Energy is planning to use floating storage and regasification units, storage vessels and small-scale LNG carriers as it grows its start-up solutions for supplying LNG.
The company, which listed on the US Nasdaq exchange last week, detailed how it will put an FSRU into operation in the second quarter to supply gas to two units of state-run energy utility Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority’s San Juan power plant, which are currently running on diesel.
