Naftomar Shipping & Trading, one of the oldest Greek LPG carrier owners, has made a rare move on the sale-and-purchase market to expand its fleet.
The company confirmed reports it has agreed to buy the 7,500-cbm LPG carrier Flamengo (built 2011).
Naftomar declined to comment on market talk about the ship costing $14.2m. The Flamengo, a fully-pressurised LPG carrier, is still listed under the ownership of Japan’s Tachibanaya.
