Naftomar Shipping & Trading is making a big push in the large gas carrier sector.
The Greek shipowner, which owns a fleet of 18 gas carriers, has ordered four 93,000-cbm very large ammonia carriers, or VLACs, at South Korea’s Hanwha Ocean.
The Okpo shipyard disclosed a price of about $500m for the quartet, to be delivered from 2026.
