Greek shipowner Naftomar Shipping & Trading has ordered up to two 84,000-cbm VLGCs at Jiangnan Shipyard.
The order is for one firm vessel plus an option for a second vessel, yard officials confirmed to TradeWinds.
Jiangnan Shipyard said the first vessel is due to be delivered in September 2017. No financial details were disclosed.
The Chinese shipbuilder, part of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), says it now has six VLGCs on order plus one option.
