More details about Mitsui OSK Lines’ involvement in India’s first floating LNG import terminal have emerged.
The Japanese shipowner will hold an 11% stake in the project led by Swan Energy through its affiliate FSRU Venture India One.
A newbuilding FSRU is currently under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea.
MOL will supervise the progress of the unit and will also be the technical partner for the implementation of the LNG project.
