Malaysian shipowner MISC has firmed up two LNG carrier newbuildings that will be fixed to state-owned parent Petronas.
Newbuilding sources said MISC inked contracts on the vessels on Monday with Samsung Heavy Industries.
The shipbuilder said on Wednesday that it had signed an agreement with an Asian customer to build two LNG carriers worth KRW 678.3bn
