Thailand could be the next country to offer LNG bunkering to commercial shipping under a scheme hatched by Japan’s Marubeni Corporation.
The giant trading house has begun a feasibility study into the prospects of such move in a joint venture with Thai national oil company PTT.
Marubeni says in a statement that the bunkering facility would be based in Laem Chabang Port, the largest industrial port in Thailand.
