Tonnage in the LNG sector hitting the 20-year-plus age bracket could face being scrapped earlier than previously might have been expected due to the current challenging market conditions.
Speaking at a London seminar organised with Wartsila, Fearnleys LNG shipping broker Paul O’Sullivan said that in a strong market, some of the LNG fleet’s older vessels might be expected to continue trading.
