An LNG carrier sold for recycling has been rejected by demolition buyers in Bangladesh due to the difficulty in disposing of its tank insulation material.
Brokers following the 130,600-cbm membrane-type vessel HL Pyeongtaek (ex-Hanjin Pyeongtaek, built 1995) said the ship was refused permission to enter Bangladesh for recycling.
