SCF Group’s ground-breaking LNG carrier newbuilding Christophe de Margerie is due to arrive at a site for its first ice-trials today.
In a slight change of plan the 173,400-cbm, Arc7 vessel has sailed to Dikson Island in the Kara Sea independently of the ice-breaker 50 let Pobedy, with which the vessel had been due to rendezvous at Cape Zhelaniya off Novaya Zemlya in the Russian Arctic.
