Lloyd's Register says it will provide a range of services related to construction of a floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) vessel for Italian oil major Eni.
The classification society will perform design, procurement, certification, construction, integration and commissioning services for the Coral South FLNG project.
Coral South FLNG will be the world’s first ultra-deepwater FLNG, operating at a depth of 2,000 metres (6,561 feet).
