Latsis family-controlled Latsco has signed up for a pair of very large gas carriers newbuildings at Hyundai Heavy Industries.
Shipbuilding sources said the Piraeus-based company has contracted the shipyard to build a pair of 80,000-cbm newbuildings for delivery during the second quarter of 2020.
The deal is said to have inked a few weeks ago and it does not include any options.
