Norway’s Knutsen OAS Shipping has won time-charter business from Poland’s Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNiG) for two LNG carrier newbuildings.
The PGNiG Group confirmed TradeWinds’ story that Knutsen is the owner behind two 174,000-cbm LNG newbuildings worth KRW 425bn ($375m) announced for Hyundai Heavy Industries at the start of this week.
PGNiG said the LNG carriers will go into service in 2023.
