Japan Marine United (JMU) has announced a new order for a domestic LNG bunker tanker.
The 2,500-cbm, 5,000-dwt unit has been contracted by Ecobunker Shipping of Yokohama for delivery in 2021.
The owner has been formed by Sumitomo Corporation, Uyeno Transtech and Yokohama-Kawasaki International Port Corporation to supply fuel in the Tokyo Bay region, JMU said.
