Conrad Shipyard has nearly finished hull construction for the first LNG bunkering barge to be built in North America.
Clean Marine Energy (CME) said its 2,200-cbm barge will begin abrasive blasting and painting in the comping weeks in preparation for launching in February.
Immediately after that, a GTT-licenced LNG Mark III containment system will be installed, with delivery to followed in the third quarter of next year.
