A new LNG import facility will begin operating by October end in India's western state of Gujarat.
The terminal was inaugurated by prime minister Narendra Modi on 30 September at Mundra, Kutch.
The five million tonnes per year LNG terminal is a joint venture between the Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) and the Adani group. The government owns a 75% stake in it.
