A fifth LNG import terminal for India is being brought onstream after receiving a cooldown cargo from Qatargas that was shipped and supplied by trader Gunvor.
The shipment was delivered onboard Indian Oil LNG’s 5-million tonnes per annum capacity Ennore LNG terminal near Chennai by the 160,000-cbm Golar Snow (built 2015), which is due to depart Kamrajar Port tomorrow.
Gunvor, which previously delivered a commissioning cargo to one of Pakistan’s floating storage and regasification units, shipped in 80,000-cbm to commission the new facility.
