Billionaire shipowner Idan Ofer has made another significant gas investment by taking a “substantial” stake in Norwegian LNG carrier owner Awilco LNG.

A stock exchange filing reveals the Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) owner’s EPS Ventures acquired 6.66m shares in the Oslo-listed company on 6 May.
