Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KSOE) disclosed that five shipping companies have signed up 12 newbuildings in total, with a combined value of KRW 1.36 trillion ($1.2bn).
KSOE, the shipyard-controlling subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings (HHIH), said it has secured orders for a quartet of 200,000-cbm LNG carriers, four MR tankers, two VLGCs, one 40,000-cbm LPG carrier and one 30,000-cbm LNG ship.
