South Korea’s Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries has inked contracts to build four VLGC newbuildings worth KRW 365bn ($329m).
The deal was announced as Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings (HHIH) revealed a return to profit in its first-quarter results.
Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co (KSOE), the shipbuilding holding company for HHIH, said on Thursday that Hyundai Samho had signed the deals with Asian and Liberian-registered companies, without naming the contracting parties.
